Wow a family of 14. You don't see that too much anymore. Nice composition and processing Maureen. You and Cheryl are kickin it at that place!

Another lovely image in your Dudley Farmhouse series. And oh my goodness, 14 children!

I like the look and the fence but not the trees blocking our view of the house....

    Thanks for the comments

Artie, I like the trees but I see your point. Much of the area around the farmstead is open, but the front of the farmhouse is a garden area and the trees are old and overgrown. To me, it's quite beautiful. You'd probably hate my yard

Nice work. I like seeing the house through the fence, garden, trees, etc. I especially like seeing the garden. I find my eye drawn to the trees on the left, I think because they are brighter. Perhaps darkening the left side would keep me focused on the rest of the image.

    Nice image and application, Maureen.

I'll have to look that place up one of these days. Seems like some options exists, with you had Cheryl shooting there.

Beautiful composition and effect, Maureen. I too like the fence and how you have presented the farmstead. Wonderful processing!

My yard is actually a huge overgrown mess at least around the huge screen-enclosed lap pool :). Al that you need to do is take a chain saw to the big tree on the left that blocks the double dormer windows.... (if that is the correct term)....

Hi Maureen, love the grunge look to this. I would prefer to see the entire upstairs window as well...perhaps a few steps to the right would have brought more of it into view. Can't imagine 14 kids...sometimes my daughter and my dog are a handful

You're too funny, Artie. I don't think the State of FL would be very happy with me if I took a chainsaw to their tree.

Maureen, I like this perspective and the grunge look. I went back yesterday with the Photography Club I belong to and that gate was open and a lot of the furniture had been moved around. It seems like every time I go you get a different look

When I go back, I'll see if there is a way to photograph the house with a less cluttered view of that window.

Only 12 kids and the parents. Having been inside, I can't imagine that many people living together in that space.

I noticed some differences in the two times I went. Guess we'll have to make another trip or four
