    Default Horned Grebe.

The sky was overcast with white clouds. One of my favorite conditons for shooting.
It creates a silvery sheen on the water which I really like.
It also brings out the colours of the ducks and grebes.
    Thanks for looking.

Nice high key effect, crisp sharpness. The water drops seem unreal with this presentation. Very interesting and nice image. Well done.

Wonderful. Colors on the grebe are superb against the high-key background. Sharp and well exposed.

Karl, liked the hgih key effect here. the white BG really helps with the color pop. Gorgeous eye. Nice details, shooting angle and comp. The water droplets on the back look a tad oversharpened to me.

Thanks, Kaustubh. Yes, you are right. I selected them and gave them an other round of sharpening.
I thought the picture would look better with sharper droplets, but it seems that I was wrong.
    Will keep in mind.

Great image Karl! I like the low angle, details and eye.
