    Recieved my D800 replacement this afternoon.
    A snapshot in the back yard.
    For Nikon shooters, this will change your life.

    500mm (300 w/ 1.7x)
    Nikon D800
    The full in camera 1.2 crop photo with No PP at all, just converted to jpeg.
    The next is a 25% crop with NR on the BG only.

    That is really impressive given the number of pixels and the high ISO, I've heard a lot of people say the micro contrast is surprisingly good. AF is apparently very good as well. I must admit I'm going a wee bit sideways waiting for mine to ship. I suspect it wil be a long wait given the demand.
