Interesting spotlight effect.............would crop on the left where it goes dark and equal off top.........this will put it off center and strenghten comp a little IMO...........also a little more light on the bill & legs to make it separate from the BG. I like the fact that it is a little unusual,

Very moody lighting, which I like very much. The whites on the breast and neck are so much brighter than the rest of the image that they appear blown even though they are not. I'd do a multiply mask on that area to tone it down.
