    Karl:

Always nice to have them show up!

Nice display of the primaries and tail feathers. The lighting from high in the sky does make it a challenge, but you go pretty good underwing exposure as well.

The framing supports the sense of soaring.

Did you need to do any exposure adjustments under the wings?

    Cheers

    Thanks, Randy.
I cannot say for sure as I don't recall as well as I used to.
Based on my typical work flow, I would say more than likely, as I routinly use highlight/shadows just to see what difference it might make and apply it if it does.
I also use linear dodge if I need to.

Good flight shot. I like the comp and the sense of floating in the air. And the backlighting of the tail feathers. Exposure looks good for what seems to be fairly bright lighting.

Very nice shot, the colours look very deep/intense - but perhaps this is me just being envious - practically nothing but grey skies here!

    Thanks, Jonathan.
We have very few days when the sky is so blue. Only a few days spring time.
The rest of the year we have grey sky, high humidity in summer and many many days with very high wind.
When it is nice out, I rush and enjoy it as it is a gift.
