Great interaction, love the flying feet, reared back poses, flying water.
The coots are unusually light colored. Could you share what you did in post on this?
Cheers

Hi Randy, thanks!
I was exposed to the right, with a little bit of clipping that I recovered. The standard fare (Black point, contrast and clarity) then I finished off with Nik Color Efex Detail Extractor filter.
Take care,

I might try a version with a little less detail extractor effect. I think it would look more natural, yet still show more detail than without it.
I find it easy to overdo that effect.

The number of times I have had shots nearly like this!! You certainly nailed this one, I too had some reservation over the image quality, I look forward to the repost, I think you have a great shot there.

Tremendous action captured here. The feet are awesome esp the one up in the air and the flying water droplets.
I am seeing a slight greenish cast on the belly feathers of each coot and wondering if it's coming from the green water in front of them. Could be my eyes so another opinion would be helpful.
