    Nice image Joel--sharp and well exposed! The only thing I might do is tone down the neon green background a bit.

    Joel,

    Really like this picture, very regal with solid detail. The perch is large but it works for me, the frame seems balanced IMO, it is a great nature still shot. Agree with Cathy's feedback there is an opportunity to tone down the background but still a strong picture with a great beak gesture.

    Joel - one thing I love about your work it demonstrates the beauty of the subject and show birds in great form. This is part of your photographic voice and it is a compliment to your feel for composition and eye for color - thanks for posting.

    Hi Joel, technically excellent in every way. But, that background is in need of some re-design. I would tone down the bg significantly and maybe revisit the color balance. Otherwise, a beautiful capture and presentation.

    Thanks everyone for commenting, actually I did use Viveza to reduce the brightness of the BG....guess it needs another pass
