Hi Sanjeev - Good timing with the trunk and I like the dirt thrown on the back. I find the very bright plants to be a major distraction here. I played with the image a little and here's a repost. First, I applied Robert's luminosity mask at about 90%. Next I reduced the greens (-40), magentas (-30), reds (-20) and yellows (-25) (this was really just to taste), then slight s/h adjustment, separate levels adjustments to the ellie and to the bg, darkened the brightness of the bg (-5) and finally another round of sharpening selectively on the ellie. All of this took about 10 minutes, I'm sure if you spend a little more time you can come away with a winner. Let me know what you think.

    TFS,
    Rachel

It looks fantastic Rachel. I can see more detail and sharpness after your tweaks. I thought the Ellie was well exposed so I didn't bother about the surroundings but I realize the importance of it now.
Appreciate your effort and tips. Will certainly spend a little time on my pics to make em better.
    Regards

Loving the pose here, Sanjeev. Might be a tad tight at the bottom (room for the legs even though they're concealed by grass) - do you have more space there in the original capture?

Way to go, Rachel - your repost has brought out oodles of detail. Your processing is rocking these days.
I'm just not sure about the colour of the green foliage now - it looks a bit 'washed out' on my current monitor but will have to view again tonight at home on thed "whopper"

    Nice rework Rachel!!!
Have to agree with Morkel about the green. Perhaps you went a bit too far?? Yet as you said the original green was too bright, distraction.

Sanjeev - glad you like it, though Morkel may be right about the greens. Morkel and Steve - just trying to pay it forward.

Hi Sanjeev, the main point is that you enjoy yourself and keep taking the shots.

Composition is coming along and Post Production (PP) will follow in time. The more you shot, the more you will understand and build on your PP and your images will improve not just in PP, but how you take your images too. Everything in time will come together.
