    Still winter in northern Scandinavia. How to improve the photo: during and after the shot?

    Hi Mats, The patterns in the ice are the most interesting part and the upper 1/3 of the image is not really adding anything to the image so i removed it and I also brighten the image an added a bit of contrast with an S curve.

    Mats,

    I would agree with Don that the very top of the image is more a distraction then an enhancement. However, I would crop below the land line for another interpretation.
