    Another one from Morro Bay... taken early on a cold morning! got close enough to this Marbled Godwit when the waves came crashing and it took off for this image! For processing used fract with a mask and painted over to expose the bird. Used additional adjustment layers for selective colors and saturation. Hope you like it...

    Too sweet! Oh I love this one. Did you post the ORIG in Avian??? The fract is perfect here. I'd go even more pano by cropping just above the dark wave lrc. Bummer that we missed each other. How was the wind???

    Morro Bay was cold but less windy than what you faced. The shorebirds were in full strength. I will make it a point to meet up with you next time you are out in CA
