Default Theme - Song sparrow in Magnolia buds

2 of the most characteristic signs of Spring here in my back yard - the Magnolias are budding and the Song sparrows are establishing territories.

    D7000, 300 f/4 AF-S + 1.7TC. Hand-held. 1/3200, f/6.7, ISO1600.

Moderate crop, Noise Ninja, cloned out a few extraneous twigs. Decided to leave the bud partially obscuring the tail as is.

good pose and nice details. overall it's a bit too busy with the tail and feet partially blocked. There is noise in the BG you may want to remove. hope you can get him on a clear perch next time :)

Nice composition, head position and details. agree there some scope to do more NR in the dark areas. Since it is not a set up, I am fine with the busy perch. am liking all the lines in there.
