    This one is from Morro Bay, CA. This common loon was close by and I ventured into the water! The loon tolerated my presence and allowed for some cool images :) Here is one that i liked just as it rose above the wave. For processing, I used fract on one layer and then used mask to paint over exposing the lower layer. I also used adjustment layer for saturation and selective colors. Hope you like it...

    Hi Indranil, nice fract work and composition too. I like the effect the fractalius had around the loon's eye.

    Very nice image and effects, these birds don't usually tolerate us up close...nice angle
