Our bearded iris are starting to pop out now and I can't resist. I fracted this (duh) and then played with some layers of saturation (darkened), erased selectively. C&C welcome.

Dan, this is outstanding! I love it! I like how fract brings out the inner glow and beauty of the Iris. Beautiful colors and wonderful processing as well. TFS.

Wonderful glow, like the filaments of a lamp. Very cool!

Dan, This looks great, you did a nice job with the filtering and the colors.

Hi Dan, great job with the fract work on this one. I don't even have Iris leaves poking up through the soil yet.

Dan, beautiful glow and colors. I think I would be tempted to crop from the bottom to right above your name.

I'm with Andrew, only thing growing up here, is a few weeds, in my yet unturned garden. Looks like a flame. Very nice effect and composition, Dan....TFS

Very nice Dan, I like it a lot! Love the play of light coming from the highlights. Nice blending of the bg too!

Hi dan...Loving the energy of this image......makes me think of the energy of life bursting forth. If it were mine I would mask in just a bit more of the original iris. Nice work!

Interesting and unusual treatment of an Iris! Love those stunning colors. I'd prefer a different bg, though I can see how the gray sets off the colors, but it seems too dull for the rest of the image.
