I know you are many times limited as to how you can move but if you could I would suggest angling right to move the tree from out of the top of the tiger's head. Though that might have placed that leave in the FG badly requiring a higher vantage point.

I like the tall grass around the body and pleasing soft light.

@Sanjeev, I am loving the 300 2.8 II! Its sharpness is fabulous with both the 2x and 1.4x III, AF speed is dismal though. Not of much use for BIF. So will be getting the new 600mm II once it releases this month end
@Robert, yes the tree is quite distracting as is the big brown leaf in the foreground. Was very excited seeing a tiger, composition went for a toss :D This was my first trip to a tiger reserve. Will try cloning out the tree trunk once in PS

Nice relaxed pose and head turn. Good comments by Robert. I also see a slight blue cast in some of the whites around the face and would prefer a bit more room to the left too. I hope you have more to share with us.

    My first thoughts too.
Blues-in-whites are easy to tone down though.
I can only imagine the giddiness of a "first" tiger sighting - I think you did well in the circumstances, Aditya. Good to see you posting here and look forward to more!

Thanks Rachel,Morkel. I am having this issue of blues-in-white cast in almost all of my images :( Its something I'm doing wrong during PP
Any idea on how to remove it?

Aditya - I did a very quick try by selecting the head which is where I see the blue cast. Then I went to Hue/Saturation and dropped the blue and cyan channels each about -50. There may be other ways to correct this that are better but this is quick and easy (about 10 seconds).
