Default BIF #5 - Swainsons at Last Light

    Attached Images Attached Images

Started out with a sunset image, copied a photo of a Swainson's Hawk from last years Texas trip.

Applied Topaz Adjust, Smooth and Flat Effect...adjusted colors, brightness to simulate late evening.

Ran Topaz De-noise on background but Topaz seems to have its own ideas...most of these effects,
produce lots of noise in the background. So I gotta live with it.

I overused the Spicify Effect and the button broke......not.

    Thanks for Looking

I love the concept and the image, Paul. Have you tried using the noise reduction slider in topaz on the background layer? You may have to mask out the moon (it is the moon, right?) but it may help.

Nice work, Paul. The hawk looks good. I agree that a little smoother might be better?

Hi Paul, Get rid of the noise and you'll have a winner. Nicely done!

Paul, Great job with the image. I like the moon and the way it looks so natural. Nice job with the hawk and the image design, agree about the grain.

Beautiful image. The moon fits in well, and the Hawk pic is first rate! It all works together.

(Did you use De-noise first? Topaz advises to suppress the noise first, and then apply other effects. Adjust and especially detail will really boost noise. De-noise has little effect when applied later in the workflow.)
