After some time I was able to get a few images of this cock bird calling, he soon gave chase to another cock.

    All C & C welcome.

Hi Johnathan....I like your image....the bg and saturation seem perfect. You might consider cropping or cloning out the white strands at the bottom

    Jonathan:

    Lovely colors, calling pose, sharp.

I appreciate Bob's point about the white stems in foreground, but cropping them out would get the bird too close to the frame edge for my taste. I might consider a very light amount of burning of the lower edge of the frame to downplay them.

I would consider cropping off 20% of the free space above the birds head, and a very small crop from the right as well.

    Cheers

what a neat bird, and beautiful colors. I would love to see the slightly cropped image per Randy's suggestion. the light branches don't especially bother me, but darkening them might be good.

Beautiful capture ,Jonathan ! I like the calling posture and the complementary bg. I agree with Randy's suggestion re cropping.
