    Default Whitetail Kite Mid-air Food Exchange



    After multiple attempts to get a nice BG to go with this behavior, I was finally rewarded with this image. Its a heavy crop, but until I get a better one, I'll take it! Hope you all like it!

    Lens Model = Canon 500mm f/4
    Camera Model = Canon EOS-1D Mark IV
    Exposure Time = 1/1600 second
    Lens F-Number / F-Stop = ƒ/7.1
    Exposure Program = shutter priority
    ISO Speed Ratings = 640
    Shutter Speed (Exposure Time) = 1/1600 second
    Distance to Subject = 799/10 m
    Metering Mode = pattern / multi-segment
    Flash = Flash did not fire, compulsory flash mode
    Focal Length = 700 mm

    Astounding capture. Image quality looks pretty good. Timing and action amazing. Seeing the face of the lower bird while the upper bird is grabbing the food is too, too good. Not to mention having a good view of all four feet.
