    A 5-lined Skink shot in the light box. As you can see, it wasn't very happy. Right after I took the shot, it squirmed around and bit me.

    Flash aimed at top inside of box. Cropped, curves, SH, contrast, smart and high-pass sharpening.

    Hi Ken. Well, you nailed this one - right before it "nailed" you! Excellent lighting, very sharp, and the open mouth gives the image a lot of interest. You have a winner!

    Neat subject. Great lighting and good DOF. For some reason the reflection in the eye is bothering me. Could you leave a catchlight, while cloning out some of that reflective square in his eye?

    Patrick, I see what you mean about the reflection....It doesn't really bother me but I can see how it could be a distraction. Following your suggestion would be easy enough to do.
