Hello everyone. Here is a shot of this male wigeon that was making a lot of noise while I was there. I guess he did not like my presence.

Hi Robert, good low perspective, and well timed to get the open beak during calling. I like the overall detail, together with the various colours. Although this 'seems' oversharpened especially on his head, I think it is the finer plumage which is bringing out the tendancy that it looks over sharpened. I would maybe neaten the catchlight a touch. You are posting excellent images recently.

Very nice shot, ilke the exposure and detail, I did not notice until Stu mentioned it but he has a good point regarding the highlight in the eye.

I think the wigeon is a tough bird to get just right, but this is great! You captured the iridescence on the head, the fine details and colors of the bird and the whites look good.

    Another nice photo, Robert.
Nice open beak capture, and good exposure on this duck.

Nice comp, I like the open bill, and the head shape is well evidenced here. I agree about the catchlight, but all else looks fantastic...you even have some detail in the white wing patch.
