7d, f/5.6, iso:200, 400mm on a 100-400mm, 1/2500. cropped for comp. detail extractor and white neutralizer on color efex pro.

This Tern had gotten pump off his post and was coming back around to land on another. Comments appreciated! Have a great day.

Gary, nice incoming pose, wings and whites. Very well cropped as well. Judging by the ISO, you were probably not set up for a flight shot. came out very well though.

Nice wing spread and detail on them as well. Light is soft too and I like the angle the wings create

Excellent flight shot Gary. Love the wing stretch and the dangling feet.

    Gary"

Good techs and nicely composed. Exposure in particular is excellent.

I see you are slipping back into your old ISO habits

    Cheers

Looks good Gary, nice pose and simple comp. You could raise the ISO to allow for some closing down on the aperture, but you got great results.

Thanks Daniel. I really like the 100 - 400 even though I do not use it a whole lot. I do find better results with it opened up all the way. And sometimes I am enjoying myself so much I do not make the adjustments I should.
