I was recently sitting in low in the sand photographing shorebirds at Bunch Beach. Something attracted my eye to the left, and I realized I had a visitor. This osprey had dropped in with its breakfast and proceeded to eat it. The axis of light was about 90 degrees off but I made images while I had the chance. Initially, he was too close and I clipped the tail feathers. So, I carefully moved back and slightly left and began making images. Gradually, I moved the full arc, but at that angle the light on the bird was great, but the fish was out of view. Comments appreciated.

Nice scene under hard light : you did a good job. I like to see both eyes : the fish and the osprey.

As harsh as the light was, you did a great job processing it. Fish could use some detail though ;-)

Tough light but you were handed a beautiful opportunity and you took full advantage of it. Great view of the talon!! I wish it was holding on tho the fish the other way (upper mandible this side of the fish for a better HA). Do you have more room at bottom for the fish? Hope to see more of the series!
