My wife and I spent February in Tierra Verde, Florida. Here is the view from our balcony I took one morning before going to Ft. DeSoto. (I miss that place. I also miss the D3X.)

Hi Allan, this is quite a lovely scene with beautiful colors. The trees in the foreground along the bottom edge look smudged in the middle. I would try to clean that up a bit otherwise it is lovely.
Andrew captured my thoughts.
What happened to the D3X?
Exellent image quality, great details and colours.
Wonderful color and comp , was this a HDR image just wondering about the smudge

I will look at the full size image when I get home. I don't know right now if this is something that was introduced with resizing or whether it is in the tiff. I will let you know if it is something I did. This was not a hdr.
I sold the D3X to get a D800 + $1500. Still waiting for the D800. I hope to use the $1500 towards a D300s replaement if one comes out this year.

I looked back at the tif and then the raw file - it still looks smudgy in that spot. ????
I like the colours here, as well as the pano presentation. I do notice a slight halo along the rightmost mangrove tops? S/H maybe?
Let us know how you find the D800 for landscaping!

Yes, Morkel. I did use s/h. I will go back yo look at the original.
