    Default Blue-capped Rock Thrush.

    Winter visitors. Created in Feb, 2012.Cropped for composition and sharpened, Surface blur applied to background.

    Av mode,F.6.,1/500,ISO:200,Spot metering, White balance: Auto. Hand held.
    Exposure bias: +0.3 stop.

    Satish, nice bkgd and pose, HA, and light angle (little harsh though). Eye is very sharp, but the feather detail seems rather blurred. Would crop slightly of top and left.

    Nice bird and image design. Perch too big and a bit on the ugly side. The first thing that I noticed was the cut out look, no doubt a result of poor selection edges for the BKGR surface blur.... Agree with Clemens on the feather detail.

    Satish, good job in getting close. Not easy to make such images without long glass. I will say you did quite well here. nice exposure and colors. Can you post the original without BG blur?

    Bg is fine as-is. I dont think there is need to apply blur. If mine, I'd take some off the top and from the left side...which will balance the comp. and also take off the distractions from the BG.
