This Elephant decided he did not want to reach up to the branches, so brought this tree down to ground level. Taken on the shoreline of Lake Kariba, Matusadona National Park, Zimbabwe, 24th September 2011.

Nice shot Ken. Its, crisp, clear, and colorful (but not over the top). He looks focused on his task and I like the two little helpers in the LRC. Not exactly sure what Sanparks stands for but I'll guess its photography related and I hope you have a safe and productive trip.

    Steve,

Sanparks is the authority that runs South African National Parks, I should have explained better.

That would've been my guess. Anything in particular you're hoping to get on this trip?

    Steve.

We are not fussy any animal in the wild is a blessing, but we would of course not say no to an Aardvark

Great behaviour captured from a very fine specimen, Ken!
I am hoping for some of these Zim Giants when I hit Mana Pools in June

Which Parks are you hitting this time, besides MZNP?

    Morkel,

I am sure you will get some fine Elephants in Mana, hopefully standing on their hind legs.

We are off to Addo, Mountain Zebra, Mokola and Karoo.

Ken - nicely captured. I like the dappled light on the head and the action.

    Have a great trip.

    Hi Ken,
Best of luck on your trip. This is a lovely ellie image and with the two egrets at the base, an image that tells a story.
Thanks for sharing and best wishes,
    Mark.
