The perch makes this image. Not that the bird detracts. Looking forward to seeing these guys in person next year!

Yes indeed. I've been enjoying your shots of the Alaskan treebirds. I'd be curious if you have any more room on top? I'd love to see a little more of that nice off-blue color on top of the chickadee's head. I suspect I'd be in the minority on that front? Perhaps not? A lovely picture, either way.

Wonderful! The snow looks so fresh, and the perch (and cone) look perfect. Subject not too shabby either. Is that a piece of seed still visible on the snow in front of the chickadee?

Agree with Doug on the value of your perch, as you state many times on your cd.

Stunning. Until I get a chance to see one of these in real life, I'll settle for staring at this image. Bird and perch are each gorgeous. Together they are marvelous.

Het Daniel, No not a seed. Looks like a piece or the pine.

Superb as expected. I like the pine needles behind the bird above the branch on the right frame-edge.

A jewel. Love all the details in the bird. The colors all work so well together.

A wonderful image, and the details in the snow add to the enjoyment as much as the details on the bird.

Great perch Alan. and the snow adds so much. Everything else is pretty much perfect as in most of your shots. TFS.
