I love the contrast and the moss covered stump (?). But maybe it's my monitor but it looks like the bird had heavy NR run on it and you lost some detail, am I correct?

Details appear soft on my monitor also. I really like the incoming pose of the gull and the wooden foreground. The whites on the water are somewhat distracting.
