Great nesting shot and I like the good look at the egg. Nice low angle. Would tone down the white area in LUC,

Hi Frank, great IQ in this, and I like the sharp detail on the grebe and nest. Good low angle and placement ( glad you didnt cut off the end of the stick on the RHS into the frame ) I do like the overall colours too, but agree with Gail about the white area ULC.

Frank, what a wonderful nest/egg/bird image. Love the look down, the beads of water on the grebe, the colors, and the IQ. Agree on the white area in the ULC. Nice comp though I could also see another version with some shaved off the bottom, and more space on top. Beautiful job!

Very good details and sharpness, I like the light angle and the water drops. Also like the BG and water colors. Agree about upper left corner. Well done!

Great location and senario for future images. Like the inclusion of the whole nest but would try a 1.4 ext and go in close when that chick hatches - try and capture up close interactions between parents and chick. Love the beads of water.

Thanks for the tips, I have tried to remove the bright area, that was not so simple.
