Hello everyone, here is another pic from my series of this pair. They both started splashing water on each other. I captured different frames but this is the one with the best head angles.

Nice low angle, beautiful colors, both appear sharp. I like how the rear bird's head is framed with the blue background. The tiny splash adds a lot. very nice.

Beautiful soft colors and great complimentary BG colors and I like the little splash. I see a bit of artifacting around the beak of the avocet on the right ? due to noise reduction.I also might add a touch of pop to the birds by adding a couple of points of black to the neutrals in selective color.

Cool shot Robert, I agree with Gail's points but you really made the most of this nice opportunity.

Hi Robert, you seem to being having fun with these guys. Another image with lovely light and colours, and I do like the playful pose of the avocet on the left. The splash adds interest, and I would try and selectively sharpen the avocet head on the left - it seems a touch soft.

Some softness on the bird's head but I envy you being at this location - the behaviour, the low angle coupled with the very nice light and smooth BG make this a lovley image to look at.
