    Coyotes on kill, Yellowstone

    This was a terrific photo opp located just across the Madison river.
    Looking forward to heading to YNP with groups again next Feb.
    I will be there for almost 4 weeks.

    1D MIV, 600mm
    Manual - spot metered on snow +2EV, 1/1000 @ f/8, ISO 800
    Post-production- 15in MBP, LR4, CS5, NIK

    Looking forward to returning to Yellowstone again next Feb.

    Chas, great action shot in their environment. Techs look spot on as usual. Wonderful IQ. The blood on the R. coyote's muzzle is a very nice touch. They certainly are argumentative little buggers around food.

    Chas - I agree, great action and good to get a shot of their faces given the position of the kill. Techs are great. I presume they were opportunistic and not responsible for the kill.

    Good interaction, nicely caught Chas. Just been watching a great series on the wolves in the Cascade mountains and how peoples view them, good or bad.

    What an awesome capture. Love the behavior, the action and all of the environmental elements. The blood really makes this image pop and simply love the story of this capture.
