    Default Waterfall, Revisited

I'd like to start by re-introducing myself - I've been gone for a while! A series of health issues had me stumbling a bit from late December through mid-March, but back in the swing of things now and healthy. This image was shot at the local botanicals; ISO 100, 24-105mm lens @ 75mm, f/16@1/8 sec. RAW image processed in LR, adjusted slightly in PS, and then a layer of Topaz Simplify on a layer with 75% opacity. Sorry to have been gone so long; hoping to get back into the swing of things!

John, good to have you back..I also had medical problems (check out my blog) just after Christmas, hope all is well.

A very nice composition, like the color and the way you've bracketed the water... well done

John, Nice to have you back and healthy! Beautiful water flow. Nice use of the Simplify filter. I like the way the image is divided into thirds.

Welcome back, John! Very nice composition. I like the division of thirds; and the colors, waterfall, and topaz effect are all perfect.

John, what a great way to return We've missed you and I'm glad you are healthy again. I love the composition as well and the topaz effect is really nice.

Thank all of you for the comments and feedback...it's not quite what I want from this waterfall yet...but I'm working on it! It's good to be able to get out again.
