    The BG is a Currant Bush and other spring color as well as the female Goldfinch.

    Dan, nice exposure and bkgd. Would like a better HA and if you could have moved to the right, you would have had the bird in the reddish color instead of green/red. Would crop a little from the top.

    Thanks Clemens, but this was not a setup.
    Moving was not an option. Finches, Chickadee's, etc., don't wait while you move.
    Now, perhaps, I should not have posted it, but taking photo's of these wild small birds, is more chance than anything else.
    I can't stage them.

    Lovely little (boy) american goldfinch. This would look nice as a vertical as well. Do you have a bit more room for the tail? I like the Bg,

    Hi Dan, I like the diagonal perch, as well as the inquisitive pose. The yellows look nice and soft, good detail throughout, and sharp too. Good idea by Gail to try a vertical, and Im seeing a bit of noise in the BG.
