    Default MALACHITE BULLET

    A Malachite Kingfisher on a dive during a hunt.
    It is surprising that even at 1/4000 sec the wings are blurred.
    I however quite like the wing blur - it gives a sense of extremely rapid motion ( which it is ! )

    f/5
    1/4000
    ISO 800
    EC +1/3
    shot from a hide.
    cropped a bit on all sides.

    Super hunting flight image, I can imagine the water below. I personally would prefer the wings extended a bit more, but you'd lose the "bullet" effect.

    A stunning shot, Arno. I am fine with the blur here...head is incredibly sharp..so are the feet. Sweet BG. Great colors. A tough one for sure. Well done.
