This is the male of the pair that have taken to my blue bird box out back. The bg is natural from a shadow of a roof all but the bottom 1/2 inch that was green I made black. The female is sitting on eggs now.

SH and EXP excellent. The perch is too big for the bird. I am not a fan of the black BKGR. Had you been right on sun angle you would not have had the shadow of the end of the perch on the undertail....

Hi Cheryl, super pose with the open beak, and I do like the mixed colours on this fellow. Im fine with dark BG, as it makes the Jay pop nicely.

Thanks everyone. Gail, I was going to reply today that it would be a great reason to come to FL but unfortunately something got to the nest last night. I am crushed and the parents are nowhere to be found. I hope they come back again.
