This one is from the Graffiti Underground in Philly. I used some lighting effects in PS, Topaz Simplify and Nik Color Efex.

I like the way you captured and processed this. It's nice to be able to see through all the doorways but having the path and doorways curve gently to the right. The side lighting is effective, and I really like the tree coming through the near doorway. It's so unexpected. I've been trying to figure if the depth is compressed. If it's not too much trouble, what focal length did you shoot this with?

The colors work well together, too. I like that the grass is so similar in color to the graffiti on the right of the first doorway.

Hi Dennis, I shot this with my 24-105mm lens on my FF 5D camera @28mm.

Denise, I love the perspective and the colors contrasting with the muted colors of the columns. I especially like the tree and the grass at the base of each column. This almost looks like you've used textures to get the layered effect. Anyway, I really like it

Beautiful, Denise. I'd critique the image but I like it too much. What depth and color! There's a palpable sweetness here also...

Denis, one of my favourites of yours, the details, color of graffiti and composition rock....the tree and grasses along the edge add a lovely green...so much to see in the image, well done

Hi Denise, very nice comp and I really like the way you processed the image also. The seemingly, endless archways are very well arranged to carry our eyes through the image. Nice work!

I love the processing Denise, and the composition is wonderful, especially the tree. I like the colors in the graffiti and grasses and the diffused look.

I agree with all the above comments! Excellent image. Fabulous composition and colors. The light is gorgeous.
You have a great eye for composition!!
From this image I'm assuming we don't have to use Christopher's lighting effects for this week's theme?
What lighting effects from PS did you use?

    Thanks folks,
Anita, all of the themes are always open to interpretation. We try to guide but not restrict you with the themes. I used the Render Lighting Omni effect found under Filters in Photoshop Elements and CS, you need to be in 8bit mode to use the lighting effect.

PS-Thank you for the kind words.

Wonderful image; it reminds me of an optical illusion with the depth that it evokes, particularly where the tree branch moves through the frame...a modern approach to M.C. Escher! Nicely seen, nicely executed, beautifully processed.
