Default A plain and cozy robin scene

Greetings, folks! I'd love to hear your thoughts on this simple little picture here. Not much in the way of post-processing, a little bit of adjusting to clarity and levels and vignetting and so forth. I'll welcome your suggestions and comments and ideas!

Nice pose. Like the lifted foot. A bit too much BK for me.
I'm not sure this belongs in the OOTB forum. Maybe Avian?

Hazel, thank you. What is BK, in this instance? I thought maybe you meant background, but I can't be sure...

Very nice, Jack. I like the backlit pose and the raised foot. I too like the simplicity with the single strand of grass. I am tempted to remove the other smaller ones at the base. I also see few alternate crop - both vertical (taking a bit off the left) and a horizontal (a bit from top and bottom). Let's see what others think.

Jack, I like the raised foot and the processing. I might tighten up the composition. I would crop the bottom to just above the small grasses. Take a small slice off the right and left if it were mine. I was once told that if you have a small in the frame subject it is good to place them towards a corner for a more powerful look.

good idea: ridding the image of the smaller blades of grass, and Denise's way of doing it is clever and appropriate. Good advice, too. Indranil & Denise, many thanks for your kind words and good ideas!

Yes, I meant background. typo...sorry. Denise's cropping suggestion would take care of my concern too. A nice shot.
