    Hi There

Shot from HCT of a pair of Black Kites having a "discussion" over who should be in possesion of the piece of food that has just been catapulted into the air for them to catch on the wing. I never tire of seeing their aerial antics as the try to be the one that gets the food.

Again shot with the 300 F2.8 which I have to admit the more I used the more I fell in love with it.

HI John you are killing me with these images !!!

I guess you cropped from horizontal? Great position for both birds maybe having the lower birds face visible would have been great Lower bird could have used better light but a fine image as presented If you can please list the exp comp?

    Hi Alfred

Glad you like the shots HCT just offers such opportunities, if only it were in Florida, we'd get the weather as well.

As for exposure comp I tend to shoot all my shots on manual, I generally meter off a white cloud or overcast (as we have a lot of those in the UK :p) and then open up by +1 2/3rds of a stop.

Cool......I think this one may be the first with an interaction between 2 birds mid air. Wonderful action.

Sweet bit of action captured John I really wish you had some sort of eye contact from the lower bird but still a very impressive bit of action captured.
