Hi Phil, if this is FF, then the reach of the 600 with the 1.4 has paid off, as these guys can be quite skittish. Nice eye contact, clarity & sharpness, looks like you have that addressed now. Like the angle, was this from the car, if not you could go lower I think. Might just tone the grass down a fraction, but again, have no idea when this was taken.

Not seen any on my patch for sometime, think Mike the gamekeeper has been rather diligent on that score, but will see sometime next week. Look forward to more.

Hi Steve it was taken at 8:23am, it was a bit foggy but very bright as the sun has been up about 2 hours, I was hiding in a hedge roe and could not get lower I was shooting in to the sun trying to get a rim light, it is about 75% of the image, I just cropped a inch or so all round I do have a very nice stoat image to post some time soon.

Thanks Phil, if you can add this type of info into the intro next time it really helps build the picture. Trust you are not snowed in today, will look out for stoat, anything like Major's one, 'The Rocket'?

Hope you are posting in Avian too, you have some crackers.

    See you on the circuit.

    cheers

very nice Phillip! I would tone down overall brightest tones just a tad, and might do some more NR on the BG?Might also try and reduce the overall greenish cast a bit - the hares have a slight 'tinge' about them...
