    Default Pileated Woodpecker

From this morning at Everglades National Park in Flamingo Got together with Harold and his wife to visit the pileated woodpecker couple and kids. Was able to make some flight images Would have like the birds fling more into me but never got a chance. Most passes were from a near by tree left to right.

    Comments welcome and much appreciated

Well done on all counts. Love the near-underwing detail and the excellent optimization skills. And the feet too.

Superb Alfred, the wing detail is amazing, and I like the serious look on the woodpecker's face.
