    Ian,

    The whites might have a few hot pixels but on balance well controlled. Are you shooting AV or Manual probably 1/2 stop faster would be spot on. This is a nice moment in nature and the action is fast and well balanced in the frame. My eye does get hung up on the foreground IMO you need to cut off a layer just below where the reflection starts (around the base of the brown strip). Use a piece of paper to practice different crops and see what presents a good clean edge and does not drag on the eye. This must have been fun to watch I love the back and forth of birds chasing each other. Beautiful species and two for the price of one - thanks for sharing.

    Thanks. Jeff, I almost always shoot Manual these days. I agree that a tad faster would have done it. I'll go back and try a few different crops.
