What a beautiful portrait, Jack. I love the complementary colors, the angle of the bird to you, that wonderfully elevated tuft, and the perch. A little more DoF might have been nice to see the tail sharply in focus. I might also try a bit more space behind tail and a bit cropped off the right. But overall really lovely job.

Hi Jack, I like the light in this, which in turn has brought out the finer plumage nicely. Sharp where it counts, and Im fine with space in front. I would just add a bit to the left.

Another lovely set up with choice of perch and bg. I like the nice alert pose of a bird which must be pretty hard to get out in the open. I would like the see a bit more room for the tail.

Jack you really captured him in beautiful light..Nice and sharp...I would remove some from front and add some behind the bird.

I love the light in this image. Another vote for more room on the left. Great BG and perch. Love the raised tuft,

Lovely colors and details here, Jack. The perch is nice and all the colors complement each other. The bird is a tad cramped in the LRC of the frame.

Wonderful shot. Great perch, wonderful background, like the pose and the lifted crest.
    Very well done.

A fine image, Jack. Excellent detail and on a very nice perch. I'd move the bird a bit higher and to the right.
