He looks tired. This is an excellent environmental image. Real nice surroundings with the moss and greenery. The owl looks very good, sharp.

I really like this environmental portrait, Don. The way the tree and vegetation frame the bird is really lovely. Don't mind the eye droop, I know how often this happens to owls. A couple of really minor things, I would clone out the black spot to the right of the owl, and tone down the light bright green area touching his lower left.

Don, what a nice place you got the owl to perch at. The BG behind the owl is what I like a lot here...blurred but with nice textures. Well done.

Hi Don, I like this lots. Excellent framing around the owl, and just love all the different types of foliage. Good eye contact, and the owl is nice and sharp. I wish that single brown leaf ULC would have blown down. Great sighting, and well captured.

Very well done on the framing and inclusion of all the interesting environment. Interesting how it was called up to such an ideal spot. Owl is nice and sharp. Yes I agree that it would have nice of wind to move the leaf on its way.

For those of you who wanted the leaf gone and Dave before I played the call I checked the sun angle and walked around the hammock looking for a good spot for the Owl to land if he did respond sometimes you get lucky and they land in the spot you want them to.

I like the repost. The spanish moss frames the owl beautifully.

    Fantastic Habitat photo, Don.
Your Owls have better taste in their surroundings than the ones in my area!
The moss is great, and the repost is perfect.

brilliant enviro image, framing is perfect for me; like it far more than if it was just blank around bird; real enough to take me there!
