Nothing fancy on this one - I just felt like posting a bird image. I used PB Oil Paint.
Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated

Oooh, I'm jealous, what a great capture! I've never had the opportunity to get a good photo of one. Very nice Oil paint filter work Cheryl!

Thanks, Judy. I've been too busy to download CS6 to give the oil paint a try. Do you like it as much as PB?

Gorgeous capture. I love the processing and the clean background. The oil paint works very well with this image.

Cheryl, I like the image design and the processing. Including the colored vegetation on the right adds a nice balance to the comp.

This is beautiful, Cheryl. I love the pose and color of the red shouldered... pb/oil worked well on the feathers. I would prefer to run a round of denoise/nr on the bg to remove the dark spots, if it were mine. Nicely done

Cheryl, I just got back to this thread. I think I like Oil Paint better but in some cases not. I can't seem to get the really smooth effect with it that I got with PB.

Like the rest of the gang I love the Oil Paint job on the bird. Not so sure of the berries behind the subject....
