Took this shot @ Arizona - Sonora Desert Museum. What a great location for all types of photography. this shot was taken w/ Canon 1D MII, Aperture Priority, ISO 400, F6.3, 1/2000sec, 260 MM, on tripod. Metering Mode-Multi-Segment.

The hawk is a beauty.....and looks sharp. I wish for better lighting so that the eye would light up. Good job tracking this one with the BG although I do find the BG a bit distracting.

Agree with Lana Norman Would select the face area and lighten !!! The new Adobe plug in "Viveza" would make this a snap !!!

I wish you had some light on the head for some catchlight and alittle eye contact. But other then that this is an excellent shot tack sharp details.....

    Hey Norm,

Nice talking to you today. Looks like you photographed this beautiful Hawk in very harsh light. The head pose could be better by looking at you.

You did well keeping the Hawk sharp in the frame. Good panning technique. You are making progress.

    Talk to you soon!

This is a shot previously uploaded, without any photoshop. This is my first attempt at PS3, so don't hold back. Many thanks Norm
