White is the combination of all colors so it everything is white there must be complementary colors in there somewhere.

While the rest of you are enjoying spring weather and birds we're still up to our necks in snow up here but there are still some joys in late winter. I made a couple of slogs up the mountains to try and get some ptarmigan shots before they start molting. I lucked upon some White-tailed Ptarmigan roosting in the snow. Here is one perking up.
