    I find these birds difficult to photograph well because of their gangly shape. Not sure how I've gone this time although I don't mind it.

    I really like the unusual composition and view of an anhinga here, Colin. Nice to see something different with one. Good choice on F stop, great detail. Like the BG and eye contact too.

    Lovely and semi-bizarro composition. Very appealing. What a great bird! I've never seen one but will someday, I hope. Here we have d.c. cormorants, cousins maybe. Nice color, exposure, details. An artful look at a crazy bird!

    Very strong comp. Lots of lines and textures. Details and exposure look great as well. If mine, I'd take some off the top to make it even stronger.
