The ice broken by a Bluebird.

The beginning of a new era has begun...Dan's post "Rebel" period:D The first bird to be victim of my new 40D is an Eastern Bluebird - nothing against mallards or gulls but I think this is a nicer start to its life.;)

The bluebirds have arrived this week and have already begun occupying nest boxes (one is just out of view here). We even witnessed a couple copulating...they don't waste any time when arriving on territory!!
