    Default Swimming in colour

I spent a lot of time photographing various birds last weekend, we had some great weather here.
I was shooting this eider swimming next to the dock when she swam into the reflection of a nearby boat, turning the normally blue sea into a literal sea of colours.
Did some slight cropping, boosted the contrast a bit and did some sharpening.

Hello Reynir, your image is not showing. I am seeing a flickr message that says "this photo is currently unavailable".

That's odd, it's showing for me. Is this better?

Reynir, the image shows in pane #3 but not in the original post.

It is important to remember that the eye follows light and color. In this image, the bird is looking really good - nice exposure, color, and detail. For my eye, the water would serve the image better in its normal state, i.e., without the brightly colored reflections. In my incarnation as OOTB moderator, I would have said that the water without the bird would make a great image on its own. As presented I find the colors and bright areas to be distracting and taking away from the bird. Let's see what others say...
