    Taken this morning as this one is in full breeding plumage.

    Lovely bird in killer plumage. Good head angle, nice light and composition with the bird back in the frame. You might try selecting the iris with a Quick Mask and desaturating the red channel 10-15 points.

    Hi James,

    Lovely colors and evil red eye. You have some nice details and light. I love vivid colors, so I would leave the eye, but that's me :)

    Nice capture Jim. I saw this guy yesterday afternoon but he was too quick to go under each time I tried grabbing him. The few shots I did manage of him were in less than ideal lighting and terrible angles so I stuck to target aquisition practice with the Terns.
