    Default Violet Sabrewing

I've got many images to post from the last few months! Here's a beautiful Violet Sabrewing from a multiple flash setup during my most recent Costa Rica workshop. I'll be announcing Costa Rica 2013 any day now!

Gorgeous image, pose, detail, colors, exposure and BG are great.

Just for my personal taste it's a bit tight in the frame, totally subjective of course.

Hi Doug, this angle shows off everything. I really like the varied coloured iridescence, good wing position, and of course, the multiple flash has rendered this tack sharp. The protruding tongue puts this over the top.

Love the pose, details and the fantastic irridescent electric blue colour.

Very nice shot Doug! I suppose that you removed the multiple flash effect in the eye, right?

Correct Yves. I removed 2 catchlights. But it's not uncommon with this lighting scheme to get only 2 or sometimes a single catchlight.

Wonderful image. I really like the pose, excellent background, tack sharp, and I just love the tongue.
