I'm not a huge fan of the head angle and the fact that we can only see one eye. The image also appears to have a cyan cast to it. I do however, like the background and positioning of the bird in the frame.

Peek a boo look. A unique pose and placement in frame and something a bit different. Seeing both eyes would have been a big plus but this is still a very nice photo. Owl is nice and sharp and not sure what to say about the colors except that it looks good.

Nice HA to get that naughty peek a boo action here . The image has a very strong colour cast though .

Very nice peek a boo look. I like the dangling, furry feet and your unusual composition. The strong blue cast needs to be addressed. Would love to see a repost,

    Yves:

I like the peek a boo pose, one eye works ok for me with this pose.

Yes, very cool colors/cast, but it makes me feel cold, so I am ok with it.

    Cheers

If anyone has a methiod to correct the color cast (that I do not really see on my screen by the way), please let me know. I do have CS5.

A unique capture you have here, Yves. It does have a blueish cast, but I agree that it works b/c it gives you the feeling of the cold. I wish the owl weren't quite so squeezed into the corner. I would just give him a little bit more room up there. I really like the BG here and all the layers or blue. Wish I could help you with colors casts, but it's not my forte. I would say try in RAW to move the white balance tool to the right to make it a little warmer or you can try in PS to decrease the blues in saturation.

Hey, I think the peek-a-boo works great -- nice shot! To correct color cast in PS5, just bring up a color balance adjustment layer and move the cyan a touch toward red, and perhaps the blue a touch toward yellow. But I'm not sure that's a good thing to do. As commented above, the blue looks cold and may add to the image. Here's a RP +10 red and -10 blue (don't think you'd need that much working with the raw).

HI, I like this comp. a lot. nice pose as well. the empty space works well due to the colors. Here's my shot at color corrected. in photoshop elements I used the 'remove color cast' option and clicked at the spot on the far wing extended primaries.

Thanks Kaustubh for your repost. What I can see is that it contains a bit less magenta than the previous repost by Ron. I believe that the cool or cold feel will always be there because of the blue sky in the BG. Thank you for your appreciation of my photo!
